Stallings is Making a Splash
Stallings, a town of 13,831 people, is the third largest town in Union County. Located just across the Mecklenburg- Union County line on the east side of Charlotte, Stallings welcomes new residents and new business to the area. Highly ranked public schools, nationally recognized health care facilities, a skilled workforce and convenient access to major transportation arteries make Stallings an ideal place to live and do business. Stallings residents enjoy close proximity to Charlotte and Monroe, low taxes, and a quality of life that is difficult to match.
Stallings has progressive leadership who nurture town business with a "Local First" philosophy to encourage residents to support local stores and services. The town is nearing completion of a Downtown Master Plan and Streetscape Plan which will guide future development and attract quality new commercial business. The splash pad pictured here will become the centerpiece in the makeover of the municipal park which is already underway. A wave of new development opportunity is certain with construction of the Monroe Bypass starting in 2012 and many acres of prime real estate available for sale or lease.
